Rajah & Tann Asia recognised at the WorldECR Awards 2017

Rajah & Tann Asia has emerged as runner-up for the “Export Controls/Sanctions Law Firm of the Year - Rest of the World” category at the WorldECR Awards 2017. Into its third year, the WorldECR Awards recognise the achievement of global export controls and sanctions professionals as well as the contribution of specialist export control and sanctions law firms and consultancies.

Rajah & Tann Asia was recognised for its export controls and sanctions work carried out by the firm’s Trade Practice. Notable matters considered for this award include successfully acting for a leading technology company in getting a positive decision in relation to a voluntary disclosure made to Singapore Customs, as well as advising the Singapore subsidiary of a U.S. manufacturer of precision metal components on compliance issues arising out of U.S. export controls and the laws of Singapore and Indonesia.
