Rajah & Tann sweeps up most number of accolades among Southeast Asian firms at asialaw awards including Firm of the Year in Singapore and Indonesia
Rajah & Tann Asia (R&T) clinched multiple accolades at the asialaw Awards 2021 held yesterday, including Singapore and Indonesia Firm of the Year.
R&T was also recognised as the Dispute Resolution Firm of the Year, Aviation and Shipping Firm of the Year, and Insurance Firm of the Year for the Asia-Pacific region.
A sixth award involved Thai Airways’ US$12.9 billion debt restructuring, which received asialaw’s Editor’s Choice Impact Deal and Case Award. R&T Thailand was one of the firms involved in the negotiations to help Thailand’s flag carrier emerge from bankruptcy.
R&T clinched asialaw’s Singapore jurisdictional award for the second year running while Assegaf Hamzah & Partners, a member of the R&T Asia network, won the Indonesia award for the third straight year.
