C&G Law wins Construction and Real Estate Law Firm of the Year at ALB Philippine Law Awards 2016

C&G Law has been named Construction and Real Estate Law Firm of the Year at the inaugural Asian Legal Business (ALB) Philippine Law Awards 2016. It beat five short-listed firms to emerge winner in the coveted category. The award was announced last Friday at a ceremony at Fairmont Makati, Philippines. In addition to the award, C&G Law was a finalist for the following awards: Arbitration Law Firm of the Year, Tax and Trusts Law Firm of the Year, Project Finance Deal of the Year, Philippine Deal Firm of the Year and Philippine Law Firm of the Year.

(MEDIA RELEASE) Banking & Finance Specialist Sieng Deline Joins Rajah & Tann Asia’s Cambodia Member Firm

SINGAPORE, 5 October 2016Rajah & Tann Asia’s Cambodia member firm today announced the appointment of banking and finance specialist lawyer, Sieng Deline, as a partner in its Phnom Penh office, R&T Sok & Heng, an integrated law firm that is a member of Southeast Asia largest legal network, Rajah & Tann Asia.

Prior to joining Rajah & Tann, Deline has had more than six years’ experience as Head of Legal & Compliance at the leading international bank in Cambodia – ANZ Royal. In addition to his in-house legal expertise, Deline’s 14 years’ of legal experience include being external Legal Advisor assisting banking and business clients; Legal Researcher focusing his research studies on trade-related laws during the period of Cambodia’s first entry into the WTO; and Official at the National Bank of Cambodia handling regulatory preparation works.

Deline is licensed to practise law in Cambodia by the Bar Association of the Kingdom of Cambodia. He also spent more than 10 years as a part-time lecturer in several universities and a professional training centre in Phnom Penh.

(MEDIA RELEASE) Leading Philippine law firm C&G Law joins Rajah & Tann Asia

MANILA, 21 September 2016 – C&G Law, a leading full-service law firm in the Philippines, has agreed to join Rajah & Tann Asia, Southeast Asia’s largest legal network, with effect from 1 January 2017.

The move will offer C&G Law’s clients seamless access to around 650 fee earners who are qualified to practise local law in nine countries in Southeast Asia. Launched in 2014, the Rajah & Tann Asia network is the first extensive network bringing together the region’s premier law firms to provide coherent, and authentically Asian legal services.
