Ng Kim Beng, Managing Partner of Rajah & Tann Singapore, said:
“It is a great honour to be named Best Overall Law Firm in Singapore for the sixth consecutive year. It reflects the deep relationships of trust and confidence that clients, peers, and the wider business community have reposed with us over the years. We are deeply grateful for this recognition.
“This achievement also vindicates the collective efforts of the many lawyers and business professionals who have contributed to the growth of the firm. While it has grown significantly, our greatest strength has always been and remains in our people and the culture we have built together – a culture grounded in excellence, integrity, and a resolute commitment to putting our clients’ interests first and to ensuring that we leave the firm stronger than when we first became a part of it.
“We take none of this for granted. Every matter, every client relationship and every interaction is an opportunity to earn trust anew. The legal profession is constantly evolving, clients continue to expect more, and the competitive landscape becomes more dynamic every year. We must therefore continue to challenge ourselves to do better year on year, while continuing to innovate and improve, yet remaining true to the values that should not change amidst an evolving external environment.
The survey was conducted by The Straits Times in cooperation with independent market research company Statista. It invited lawyers in private practice, in-house lawyers, legal executives in companies and government bodies or statutory boards, and clients of law firms to recommend firms and individual lawyers across selected fields of law. Self-recommendations were not considered. The survey ran from 11 May to 6 July 2026
The recognition reflects the contributions of the firm’s lawyers and business professionals, as well as its culture of excellence, integrity and commitment to clients. It also reinforces the firm’s determination to continue improving and innovating in response to the changing needs of clients and the legal profession.
