Network records 167 lawyer rankings, up from 101 last year, while securing 18 Tier 1 practice rankings across the region
Singapore, 6 October 2026 – Rajah & Tann Asia has reinforced its position as a leading Asian legal network in the latest IFLR1000 Asia-Pacific rankings, achieving 167 individual lawyer rankings across eight jurisdictions.
This represents a significant increase from 101 lawyer recognitions in the previous edition, reflecting the growing depth of talent across the network. The network was also ranked across 36 practices, including 18 Tier 1 rankings, and recorded 15 new or improved individual rankings.
Regional Highlights
Rajah & Tann Sok & Heng Law Office maintained its Tier 1 ranking for Financial and Corporate and Tier 2 ranking for Project Development.
The firm achieved nine individual lawyer rankings across four recognised practitioners, including Highly Regarded, Rising Star Partner and Women Leaders distinctions.
Assegaf Hamzah & Partners secured seven Tier 1 practice rankings across Banking, Capital Markets: Debt, Capital Markets: Equity, M&A, Project Development, Project Finance, and Restructuring and Insolvency.
The firm also achieved 33 individual lawyer rankings, including five new entries, highlighting the depth of its talent and the continued strength of its transactional practices.
Rajah & Tann (Laos) maintained its Tier 2 practice ranking and secured two individual lawyer rankings.
Christopher & Lee Ong secured Tier 1 and Tier 2 rankings across all six of its recognised practices. Its Capital Markets: Equity practice was elevated to Tier 1, joining M&A, Project Development: Infrastructure and Project Development: Energy in the top tier.
The firm also achieved 34 individual lawyer rankings, including one elevated ranking.
Gatmaytan Yap Patacsil Gutierrez & Protacio (C&G Law), maintained its rankings across all five recognised practice areas, including Tier 2 rankings for M&A and Project Development.
