Rajah & Tann Singapore has once again been recognised as the most innovative law firm in Southeast Asia at the latest Financial Times Asia-Pacific Innovative Lawyers Awards, marking 13 consecutive years of being at the top!
This year’s results reflect our firm-wide commitment to innovation in both the business and practice of law. In the Business of Law category, we received recognition for:
- Standout: Strategic Direction, including our appointment of a Chief Information Security Officer, a first for an ASEAN law firm, underscoring our focus on strengthening cyber security and data protection standards
- Highly Commended: People & Skills, for our collaboration with Ngee Ann Polytechnic, the Singapore Academy of Law and Lexagle to develop a Diploma in Computing with Law
- Commended: Digital Legal Services, with the launch of an AI-powered contract review subscription service
- Commended: Knowledge and Data, leveraging curated legal materials through the Harvey platform to enhance internal knowledge access
In the Practice of Law category, we were also:
- Highly Commended: Responsible Business, for advising on the restructuring of Bhutan-based Mountain Hazelnuts to facilitate a US$7.9 million investment
- Highly Commended: Restructuring & Liability Management, for our role in advising Pine Labs on a cross-border merger involving Singapore and India
