One of the first few cases involving provisions of the Protection from Harassment Act enacted to tackle the problem of the publication of online falsehoods
Partner Nicholas Lauw from Rajah & Tann Singapore is advising Tokio Marine Life Insurance Singapore in relation to various social media posts and correspondences to third parties by the adverse party, which was a customer of the client, containing falsehoods and the marks of the client.
This is one of the first few cases involving these provisions of the Protection from Harassment Act, which were recently enacted to tackle the problem of the publication of online falsehoods.
