On 27 March 2025, Senior Partner Norman Ho from the Corporate Real Estate Practice was one of the panellists at the roundtable workshop titled “The Future of Office Space and the CBD”.
The panellists discussed how flexible work arrangements, economic shifts, and urban planning strategies are reshaping the Central Business District (“CBD“) and the broader office market in the post-pandemic era. The discussion centred on how businesses are reviewing their office footprints to enhance productivity and well-being, while balancing the growing demand for collaborative environments and remote work options. Norman also shared valuable insights on environmental sustainability, the benefits of CBD Incentive and Strategic Development Incentive Schemes, and the need for timeline extensions for complex projects.
The event was jointly organised by the National University of Singapore, the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Singapore (URA) and Rajah & Tann Singapore.
