ASEAN Conference 2026: ASEAN’s Future in a Fractured World

On 30-31 July 2026, Singapore Business Federation organised the ASEAN Conference, centred on the theme “ASEAN’s Future in a Fractured World”. This was jointly supported by founding partners United Overseas Bank Limited, RSM, and Rajah & Tann Asia (“RTA“).

Marking its 10th edition, the conference brought together key decision makers from both the private and public sectors to exchange perspectives on building a more resilient Association of Southeast Asian Nations (“ASEAN“) in a rapidly evolving global landscape.

Partner Chia Kim Huat (Regional Head, Corporate and Transactional Group) moderated the fireside chat “Building an Integrated and Resilient ASEAN Energy Market”. Our practitioners from RTA members-firms moderated the Indonesia and Malaysia market breakout sessions. Partner Angelica Ayu Maharani from Assegaf Hamzah & Partners moderated the panel discussion on “Indonesia’s Industrial Moment: Reform, Risk and the Real Investment Case”, while Partner Adrian Chee from Christopher & Lee Ong moderated the session on “Building Industrial Competitiveness: Powering Malaysia’s Next Phase of Growth”.
