MYR 622.2 Million Secondary Placement of Malayan Cement Berhad Shares by YTL Cement Berhad

Christopher & Lee Ong, member firm of Rajah & Tann Asia, advised CGS International Securities Malaysia Sdn Bhd as the sole placement agent to YTL Cement Berhad on the secondary placement of 82,412,000 ordinary shares in Malayan Cement Berhad, raising MYR 622.2 million (US$153.5 million) in proceeds, being the largest placement deal on Bursa Malaysia to date. Partners Justin Chua and Vivian Lim from the Capital Markets Practice led the transaction.
