Acting as lead Counsel for CSZ Shipping Co Limited and CSSC Energy Pte Ltd in proceedings brought against the clients in the Malaysian Admiralty Court for conspiracy to defraud, breach of duty of care, conversion and bailment of a cargo of crude oil that was stored on board a Floating Storage Unit (FSU) owned by the client and subsequently released to a third party via a ship to ship transfer (STS), on the instructions of the lessee of the FSU. The matter value is approximately US$40 million.
