Rajah & Tann Singapore Contributes to SCCCI’s Singapore Investment Guide 2026/2027

As Southeast Asia continues to attract businesses seeking new growth opportunities, Singapore stands out as a strategic entry point for regional and international expansion. Its stable legal and regulatory framework, pro-business environment, strong connectivity, and unique position as a trusted financial, commercial and arbitration hub make it an attractive base for companies looking to access markets across the region and beyond.

Rajah & Tann Singapore has contributed to the Singapore Investment Guide 2026/2027 (“Guide“), published by the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCCI). Drawing on the firm’s experience advising investors, businesses and financial institutions across the region, our Partners contributed insights on a broad range of legal and regulatory issues, including corporate transactions and mergers & acquisitions (M&A), capital markets, dispute resolution, restructuring and insolvency, real estate, employment, tax and financial services. Contributors include Partners Chia Kim Huat (Regional Head, Corporate and Transactional Group), Chen Xi (Co-Head, China Practice), Hew Kian Heong (Head, Shenzhen Representative Office), Alroy Chan (Deputy Head, Corporate Commercial), Howard Cheam (Head) and Tan Mui Hui (Deputy Head) from the Capital Markets Practice, Regina Liew (Head) and Samuel Lim from the Financial Institutions Group, Vikna Rajah (Head, Tax; Co-Head, Private Wealth; Co-Head, South Asia Desk), and Danny Lim from the Mergers & Acquisitions Practice; and International Counsel Xing Chengdong.

The Guide serves as a practical resource for businesses, particularly Chinese entrepreneurs, seeking to better understand Singapore’s investment landscape and leverage its position as a gateway to the wider region and global markets.
