On 14 November 2024, Australian law firm Maddocks and Rajah & Tann Singapore jointly organised a webinar titled “Navigating the Future of Real Estate in Australia for 2025 and Beyond”. The webinar featured Brendan Coates, Housing and Economic Policy Expert at the Grattan Institute, an independent Australian policy think tank, who covered (i) the current market in Victoria, including recent shifts in demand and price trends, and supply challenges in the sector; (ii) latest government priorities on housing, election impacts and what these mean for investors and developers; and (iii) predictions for 2025.
