On 25 April 2024, Vikna Rajah, Head of Rajah & Tann Singapore’s Tax Practice, and Anthony Mark Gutierrez from Rajah & Tann Asia Philippine member firm C&G Law participated as speakers at the International Tax Review (ITR) Asia Tax Forum 2024.
Vikna was one of the panellists at the session on “Risk mitigation through tax insurance”, which covered topics on (i) innovative uses of tax insurance, (ii) tax risk across Asia and how to reduce such risks, and (iii) litigation trends and how tax insurance could potentially come into play.
Mark was one of the speakers at the session on “Working towards fewer disputes and audits”, where panellists tackled, among others, (i) the common triggers and causes of tax disputes and audits across Asia; and (ii) managing diverse tax procedures.
