Jacyn is a Partner in Christopher & Lee Ong’s Corporate Practice Group.

Jacyn’s practice encompasses the full spectrum of corporate transactions, concentrating on complex cross-border corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, disposals, auctions, private equity and venture capital transactions, take-privates, spin-offs and joint ventures.

She represents bidders, sellers and target companies in domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, and global and Asia-based private equity sponsors and other financial investors in private equity transactions across a broad spectrum of industries such as consumer and retail, education, energy, fintech, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing and telecommunications.

  • A global Asia-focused private equity firm’s acquisition of 80% equity interest in Kaiserkorp Sdn Bhd, the holding company of multiple companies that are involved in the licensing, manufacturing and sale of the King Koil brand bedding products.
  • TIME dotCom Berhad’s disposal of a strategic stake in AIMS Data Centre to DigitalBridge. This deal was voted as the Best M&A Deal in 2023 by The Edge Malaysia.
  • Axiata Group Berhad’s sale of the Celcom group of companies to Digi.com Berhad, as part of the MYR18 billion merger between Digi and Celcom Axiata Berhad.
  • Axiata Group Berhad’s acquisition of 66.03% equity interest in PT Link Net TBK.
  • A non-Malaysian entity’s submitted bid for Ramsay Sime-Darby Healthcare Sdn Bhd.
  • Columbia Asia’s acquisition of an under-construction hospital from IMU Education Sdn Bhd and IHH Healthcare Berhad.
  • Columbia Asia’s acquisition of Rumah Sakit Medika Bumi Serpong Damai from KPJ Healthcare Berhad.
