  • Advised Hong Kong-listed Link REIT on its S$2.16 billion acquisition of shopping malls, Jurong Point and Swing By @ Thomson Plaza, in relation to technology, intellectual property and data protection matters.
  • Advised a global leader in AI-powered security on its acquisition of a cloud security platform in relation to the Singapore intellectual property and data protection matters.
  • Advised a Singapore media group on its acquisition of a technology media startup in relation to technology, intellectual property and data protection issues, strengthening the group’s offerings as a regional player for business and technology news.
  • Advised an innovation accelerator in relation to its sale of assets comprising certain technology, data and intellectual property to a multinational bank headquartered in Singapore.
  • Advised a venture capital fund on the intellectual property aspects of its investment into a leading manufacturer of medical consumables in the region.
  • Advised a Nasdaq-listed crypto cloud mining service provider on its acquisition of technology assets and employees as part of its strategic growth plans.
  • Advised an interior design firm on a sale of assets which included certain key intellectual property.

  • Advised a PRC financial institution on its engagement of a service provider to implement a letter of credit technology platform service for its customers.
  • Advised a leading technology company on its master service agreement to be entered into with its clients for subscription of its wealth management platform service.
  • Advised a petroleum storage terminal in Asia on a rollout of a Software as a Service for its customers, as well as the accompanying terms of use and privacy policy, which aim to provide enhanced and streamlined technology solutions for the customers.
  • Advised a leading start-up in cloud computing on its Infrastructure as a Service and Platform as a Service templates to be entered into with its customers.
  • Advised a leading e-commerce company on its digital commerce management services to be rolled out to its customers.
  • Advised a global consulting firm on its technology terms of business.
  • Advised a leading bank in Singapore on an intra-group reorganisation of its trade mark assets.
  • Advised clients across varied industries on intellectual property assignment and licensing arrangements.

Data Protection & Cybersecurity

  • Advised on, drafted and reviewed company policies containing data protection provisions (including data protection policies and IT security policies) for various clients across different sectors.
