David is a Partner in the firm’s Dispute Resolution group.

Prior to joining the firm, David was the Deputy Director at Attorney-General’s Chambers where he handled some of Singapore’s most complex and sensitive cases involving corruption, financial crimes, and sexual offences, often leading matters against Senior Counsel.

Over the years, David has led more than 30 trials and appeals before the District Court, High Court and Court of Appeal. Notably, he was also Singapore’s United Nations Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC) country expert, which speaks volumes about his expertise in anti-corruption matters.

Beyond his track record in Singapore, David brings international experience from his time in the USA, representing major corporations and senior executives in white-collar defence and regulatory matters, including federal and international investigations. David also worked on several international arbitrations while in the USA.

His commitment to pro bono work earned him the Cyrus R. Vance Center Award for International Pro Bono Excellence (2018) and The Legal Aid Society Pro Bono Publico Award (2019) for advocacy in immigrant rights and international law.
