Rajah & Tann Singapore assisted Vietjet in doubling its A330neo order to 40 aircraft. Vietjet claims that this new agreement is part of its broader series of aircraft financing deals totalling more than US$4 billion that the airline has secured with financial institutions in the United States. The agreement was signed in the presence of the French President Emmanuel Macron and Vietnamese President Luong Cuong, during an official visit to Vietnam.
Rajah & Tann Singapore’s Head of Aviation, Paul Ng, Ngyuen Minh Chau (Senior Legal Executive) and Katrina Yip (Associate) represented Vietjet in this landmark deal.
