Successfully resisted both the court applications and emergency applications under extremely tight and urgent timelines for our client in relation to a contamination incident that attracted both media and industry attention

Acted for a local oil trading company in resisting a claim brought by its buyer. The buyer commenced a total of 4 arbitrations (including 2 SIAC emergency applications in those arbitrations) and 2 courts actions before the Singapore Courts. The claim quantum involved was approximately US$100 million.
