S$12 Million Recovery Action relating to damage at worksite

Acted for India International Insurance Pte Ltd in a recovery action relating to substantial damage to works by the Public Utilities Board and its contractor, relating to a S$87 million contract caused by lateral soil movement at the insured’s worksite, resulting in a sinkhole. This matter is significant as it involves complex technical engineering and geotechnical issues and its impact on the duty of care.
