Acted as the legal counsel to PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (Persero) (“SMI”), a State-Owned Enterprise supervised by the Ministry of Finance, and functioning as a Non-Bank Financial Institution. SMI has achieved a significant milestone by obtaining its inaugural Sustainability-linked (“SLL“) Syndicated Term Loan Facility, amounting to US$700 million (about IDR10.65 trillion), which involves partnerships with banks from Indonesia, Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and South Korea. SMI plays a pivotal role in propelling Indonesia’s sustainable infrastructure growth, offering a range of unique products and functions designed to expedite infrastructure development.
