PT North Sumatera Hydro Energy’s US$1.251 billion financing for the development of the 510 MW Batang Toru Hydroelectric Power Plant in Sumatera

Acted as Indonesian counsel in facilitating a groundbreaking deal where PT North Sumatera Hydro Energy (“NSHE”) secured US$1.251 billion in financing for the development of the 510 MW Batang Toru Hydroelectric Power Plant in Sumatera. This deal won the Project Finance Deal of the Year award at the ALB Indonesia Law Awards 2023. Partner Tracy Tania led the transaction.
