Advised China Energy Engineering Group Shanxi Electric Power Engineering Co. Ltd (“Client”) on the engineering, procurement and construction (“EPC”) contracts and the 20-year power purchase agreement (“PPA”), in relation to the operation and maintenance of a 500MW build-own-operate solar plant in Oman. This was the Client’s first project in Oman where there are a multitude of legal and compliance requirements, and also involved an equity investment into the Developer and novation of EPC contracts to a special purpose vehicle of the Client.
