CUCKOO International’s RM 154.7 Million IPO on Bursa Malaysia

Christopher & Lee Ong, member firm of Rajah & Tann Asia, acted as the legal adviser to (a) RHB Investment Bank Berhad (in its role as the sole principal adviser, sole managing underwriter, joint global coordinator, joint bookrunner, and joint underwriter); and (b) AmInvestment Bank Berhad (as the joint global coordinator, joint bookrunner, and joint underwriter) in relation to the initial public offering and listing of CUCKOO International (MAL) Berhad on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, an offering with a market capitalisation of approximately RM 1.55 billion. The IPO raised gross proceeds of approximately RM 154.7 million and was oversubscribed by approximately 1.42 times by the Malaysian public.
