Rajah & Tann Foundation is a proud sponsor of the Heartstrings Charity Concert
On 1 November 2024, the Lions Club of Singapore Meyer presented the Heartstrings Charity Concert at The Arts House, an event dedicated to raising funds for the Lions Community Service Foundation. Proceeds from the concert will go towards providing financial assistance to deserving students, supporting disadvantaged families, and supporting social activities for the elderly.
The concert featured an inspiring repertoire of classical pieces by composers Chopin, Rachmaninoff and Liszt, performed by our very own partner Cynthia Goh, who was a recent winner of the 6th Steinway Youth Piano Competition (Youth-At-Heart category). Cynthia also delighted the audience with a spontaneous improvisation based on a motif provided by the audience, and accompanied vocalists Serene Ng, Matthew Gan and Steffi Caroline from Lions Clubs (Meyer, Galaxy and Central), who performed timeless songs in English, Mandarin, and various European languages.
We are honoured to have been part of such a meaningful initiative, supporting the fundraising effort and the promising talent that helps bring our community closer through music.
