On 6 Augst 2026, Rajah & Tann Singapore held its LearningBytes seminar series for the month titled ” From Governance to Disputes: A Practical Guide to Managing AI Risk, Liability and Accountability”.
As enterprises increasingly integrate artificial intelligence (“AI“) tools into their operations, legal teams must address both internal governance and external commercial risks. The seminar explored how businesses can adopt AI safely and effectively, with a focus on contracting, liability allocation, data protection, domain knowledge and intellectual property protection, vendor accountability, and the risks associated with the use of corporate data in large language models. The speakers provided a practical framework for managing AI risks, strengthening vendor contracting strategies, navigating emerging AI disputes and safeguarding corporate data in an increasingly AI-driven business environment.
The speakers were Partners Rajesh Sreenivasan (Head, Technology, Media & Telecommunications), Tng Sheng Rong (Deputy Head, Intellectual Property) and Justin Lee.
