On 18 November 2025, Rajah & Tann Singapore and Elvinger Hoss Prussen co-organised a seminar titled “Exploring Luxembourg – Singapore Fund Structures & Retailisation”. The key topics covered at the seminar included the following:
- Overview of Luxembourg Alternative Investment Funds: key features of RAIFs, partnerships, and Part II funds, and how they serve as flexible vehicles for fund managers.
- Case Study: Parallel Fund Structures in Singapore & Luxembourg: how Singapore and Luxembourg funds can be structured in tandem – whether as full AIFMD-compliant funds or lighter versions without marketing passports.
- Global Trend: Retailisation of Investment Funds: how Singapore is responding to the global push toward retail access to private markets; insights on Monetary Authority of Singapore initiatives; regulatory trends and developments; and key focus areas for fund managers targeting the mass affluent and retail segments.
Partners Jasmine Chew and Philip Yeo, Deputy Heads of the Funds & Investment Management Practice, were the speakers. They were joined by Charlotte Chen and Xavier Le Sourne from Elvinger Hoss Prussen. Anne Yeo, Head of the Funds & Investment Management Practice, was the Moderator.
