Acting for the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Asia) Ltd in relation to the concession acquisition, construction and operation of a 700MW coal power plant in Sihanoukville province of Cambodia, by Huadian Sihanoukville Power Generation Co Ltd. Our assistance includes legal due diligence over the original developer (CIIDG) prior to the acquisition by the Project Company of the concession project, structuring advice, advice with regard to the strategic and practical approach towards government authorities, licensing and registration requirements, novation of project documents, and general legal advice for closure of the deal.
