Pace Enterprise Pte Ltd (“Pace”) is in the business of buy-now-pay-later (“BNPL”) services to retail consumers offering its customers an alternative payment option at a wide variety of merchants. Pace has established itself as one of the key BNPL providers in Singapore and is expanding in the region.

The BNPL scene in Singapore, like many other countries, has gained traction over the recent years. We are the key legal advisers to Pace and provide ongoing legal and regulatory advice to Pace including in respect of its Payment Services Act licensing application with the Monetary Authority of Singapore and its product launches, including the launch of the Pace card, an online virtual card allowing users to shop and pay at selected merchants. Partners Benjamin Liew, Terence Quek and Cheryl Tan were lead lawyers in this case.
