Corporate Banking 

We regularly advise domestic and international banks, financial institutions, funds and corporates on a wide range of corporate banking matters, including domestic and cross-border syndicated and bilateral lending transactions, leveraged and acquisition finance, structured finance and security arrangements. We also provide advice on loan restructuring and the sale and purchase of loans.

Trade Finance 

We have an active trade and commodity finance practice and we regularly advise clients on pre-export, advance payment, import and stock financing facilities. We have broad experience in collateral management arrangements and taking security over soft and hard commodities, both locally and in the region. 

Islamic Banking 

We advise on a wide range of Islamic Finance products (including mudaraba, murabaha, musharaka, ijara and sukuk), and have acted for Islamic banks, conventional banks, financial institutions and corporate bodies in Islamic financing transactions.

Project Finance 

We are experienced in advising sponsors, banks and other financial institutions as well as export credit agencies on the financing aspects of projects in a range of industry sectors, including green-field power generating facilities (including gas powered, coal powered and hydroelectric), water supply systems, port infrastructure, petroleum and petrochemical storage and terminal facilities, integrated resorts and integrated real estate developments.

Structured Finance 

We offer specialised legal advice on structured finance, including securitisation transactions. In this area of practice, we have advised originators, structurers, lead managers, rating agencies, trustees and service providers.
