Jovn graduated from the School of Law of the University of Manchester, United Kingdom and is admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore. Jovn practised in the Firm’s International Arbitration and Construction Projects Practice Group before joining the Firm’s Corporate Real Estate Practice Group as a Senior Associate.

Experience 

Jovn specialises in conveyancing and represents and advises local and foreign corporations and individuals in property sales, purchases and leases. Jovn also advises banks and financial institutions in acquisition and mortgage financing, and in developers’ residential and mixed-use development projects.

Jovn also has experience dealing with a wide portfolio of properties ranging from condominium units, landed properties, office units, industrial properties (including HDB and JTC properties), and commercial buildings and developments.

Jovn was also involved in and has advised on various disputes as well as contract administration and risk management in significant projects. Jovn’s expertise in dispute resolution ranges from matters that are subject to litigation in court, both domestic and international arbitration (be it ad-hoc or under institutional rules such as SIAC, ICC), and adjudication as well as under various systems of law (whether under common law or civil code) including Taiwanese law, Chinese law and Japanese law.
