Mr. Chau is a founding partner of LCT Lawyers, which is now known as Rajah & Tann LCT Lawyers. With over 18 years’ experience in legal practice, including several years as legal counsel to leading international corporations (Perfetti Van Melle Corp, Sony Corporation, Vision Associate Deacons), Mr. Chau has been recognised by the legal community as one of the most efficient litigators in Vietnam. In recognition of his achievements, Mr. Chau has been specially recommended by the Legal500 as a lawyer who "knows well how to deal with the authorities to resolve a variety of challenging legal matters in Vietnam to get things done; he is also very good at negotiating the legal proceedings and out-of-court and arbitration dispute settlements".

Rajah & Tann LCT Lawyers’ Dispute Resolution Practice Group, led by Mr. Chau, has been repeatedly singled out as one of the most productive and knowledgeable in Vietnam.  From 2010 - 2013 LCT Lawyers has been consecutively ranked by Chambers Global, Legal 500 and AsiaLaw and the 2013 Corporate INTL Legal Awards as one of the leading dispute settlement firms in the Region. Under Mr. Chau's leadership, the practice group has successfully dealt with a variety of local and international dispute resolution cases relating to commerce, employment, shipping and the construction industry.

LCT Lawyers’ nomination as the only Vietnamese firm for the Thomson Reuters “Commercial Dispute Settlement Firm” of the year at the ALB SE Law Award 2013 highlights the industry’s recognition of the skill and success of LCT Lawyers’ dispute team. Quang has recently been recommended as one of the Regional Leading Lawyers by Global Award. He is also a well-known lecturer at the Judicial Academy of the Ministry of Justice of Vietnam and has been appointed as a reputed arbitrator of the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC) at the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

In February 2014, upon its integration with Rajah & Tann, the firm was renamed as Rajah & Tann LCT Lawyers as a member of Rajah & Tann Asia, the largest law firm in South East Asia with offices in 9 countries, in addition to China, with 900 lawyers.
